Example: Gianni Graham set a goal to help people in 2016, and that’s exactly what the 9-year-old Virginia native hopes to do by collecting 1,000 Barbie Dolls to give to girls who live in foster care and homeless shelters throughout her city. Her mission? To offer them a little encouragement.
“I wanted to inspire them and give them encouragement,” she said in an interview.
While Graham understands kids also need things like food and clothes, she choose to collect and distribute Barbie Dolls because she wants them to enjoy life’s pleasures too.
“I feel like girls in shelters should have the same as girls not in shelters,” she explained.
